Mental Health Therapist Versus Expert Witness

Firstly a mental health therapist deals with mentally ill persons but also with minor problems . His job is to help patients have a normal life, by teaching them how to pass every day problems. His entire research stands on listening and talking, dealing with feelings etc. For an expert witness, the job features other things . For example finding clues and exact data and information. This is a strict research that has palpable evidence. When it comes to mental health therapist, the doctor works with feelings and behavior. Both of the jobs are very important and they have heavy responsibility. They both have in their hands peoples lives more or less.
Mental health therapist versus expert witness is also related to the fact that many therapists collaborate with court houses and trials when they are needed. For example a mental health therapist can evaluate the accused to see if he is in his mental sanity. His evaluation counts very much when it comes to committing a crime or an act of violence. If the prisoner is found mentally sane than he is judged and then carcerated. If not, then he is provided with a mental health facility where he is kept as a prisoner. An expert witness has also the power to convict someone because he is testifying in court. His facts are taken in consideration and the jury decides.
Both of the jobs are very well payed and people who want to become either mental health therapists or expert witness, have to have a great knowledge as a background to have any credibility or to put a definite result on something. An expert witness can also intervene in cases of child abuse or domestic violence. The mental health therapist helps people to cope with their pain and the expert witness gathers information. An expert witness has also a foundation base in what regards knowledge about psychology. Both the therapist and the expert witness are regularly evaluated to see if they are perfectly sane and mentally stable. In the end, these two jobs are as important as any doctor in the hospital. A therapists helps people directly and an expert helps reaching a decision in the interest of the court or of the client.
