At a mental health occupational therapist comes people of any age, from children to elders. Each person has a different problem and so a therapist is obliged to know as many things as possible and experience is also very important. An occupational therapist has also the job of assisting people do all kinds of activities like : dressing, using a computer, writing, drawing or even cooking. Their services include : assistance in support groups, support employment, learning and adapting in any environment. All these mental health therapists work in rehab centres, community mental health clinics, home health agencies, hospitals or even have private clinics.

They are specially trained to help you in any problem and just like surgeons , therapists can save lives. It`s a demanding job that has great responsability, and not many can do it. A therapist besides all his knowledge has to be perfectly mentally stable and has to have great communication skills and a desire to work with people. The number of therapists has noticeably increased in the last few years, and it is said to grow even more.
